Forte Interactive is Protected against the POODLE exploit!
When POODLE was made public in September, we took quick action to mitigate the exploit as recommended by Google, who published the vulnerability.
Recently, we have seen many of our vendors and services drop support for SSLv3 altogether as this security technology is now 18 years old.
As an added precaution, today we are following suit by disabling SSLv3 across all of our systems in order to provide the best security for our clients and the transactions of website visitors. Our systems that communicate with Authorize.NET did not utilize SSLv3 since we supported more secure protocols, but we are disabling this now as it will no longer be supported by them.
This will in no way adversely affect TrustedPartner or RacePartner clients.
If using older computers or browsers:
Internet Explorer 6 on Windows XP, are no longer supported by Microsoft, nor are they supported by Forte Interactive. There may be issues viewing secure websites when using older browsers. The recommended solution is to use a secure modern browser such as Internet Explorer 9, 10 and 11, Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome or Safari.
As the Chief Operating Officer of Forte Interactive, Slade leads marketing, operations, human resources, and product development, while overseeing a staff of Millennial employees.
